In the turn-based RPG “The Coolkid Guidebook”, you follow the adventures of Morgan who's trying to get in time to a date.
But what could have been a simple journey is a perilous adventure for this hypersensitive high school student who wants to look as cool as possible in any situation. Especially when the place he must travel is "Brekelantte", an experimental city where humanity tries to offer itself a second chance 60 years after a global cataclysm called “The Singularity”.
Fortunately, Morgan can count on two allies to cope with the anxiety of getting out of his home: his grandmother Nimu, a disillusioned matriarch who helped to build Brekelantte, and his best friend Esthéla, an extravagant clown who's passionate about pre-Singularity culture.
The Coolkid Guidebook presents a crazy and colorful world where everyday life takes the proportions of an epic adventure. The game is part of the aesthetic and philosophical Solarpunk movement, and coats the codes of Art Nouveau with a layer of colorful cartoon.
